Lauren and her amazing boudoir & glam pics

So I had the pleaseure of doing a bit of a mixed shoot with Lauren. She wanted a few couple shots with her partner Brock. She also wanted a few glamour style and then the boudoir. We did her shoot late in the afternoon and after hair and make-up, we did the couple shots first so we could let Brock escape.

One of my favs - shot on the 85mm on Goondoon Street.

The happy couple again

Now Laurens Glam pics.. I could actually sit here all day uploading... but check the website http://www.kellieblincophotography.com.au/ to see some more

Lauren looking absolutely stunning Look at her amazing eyes!

And again! I might also say, that Amy did a great job with Laurens make-up, she always knows how to get it perfectly right for the camera - which - I would like to say is NOT an easy job

Now for the Boudoir shots. These are gorgeous. And I do like to point out that most people, are not fond of having their boudoir pics placed where people can view them. Ofcourse while they are tasteful and there is nothing overly revealing in any of them, they are something people have done for their eyes only. So when my girls, do allow me to show them off, I need to give them a HUGE thanks. Although, I think once you have seen them, you would see why Lauren had no objections... she looks INCREDIBLE!!!

There really is no room for error with lighting in a boudoir shot - it has to be soft, it has to be flattering and it has to be right!!

And I am calling this one my very favourite of the entire day.. You may see by now how I adore sepia :D

And last, but definately not least, I can never go past the vintage look and mirror.

I *hope* Lauren got more than she expected from her shoot.

Camilla & Ian

Camilla got a glam voucher for christmas, so she hauled Ian in with her to get some shots. They were both naughty and didnt get to bed until 4am that morning, so there 11am shoot could have been a little too early for them! I hope they had fun! We did some in studio stuff and natural light stuff too

Camilla shoot in the studio with the light of the beauty disc and a reflector. She was heaps of fun, and she wasnt scared to have fun in front of the camera
Just a nice studio shot of Camilla and Ian. I couldnt have used a bland backdrop for these two - they are personality plus!

This one was shot in the hallway nextdoor to my studio using natural light only

And then we have Ian in Natural light too.

I hope both Camilla and Ian find a few pics amongst there lot that they think is a reflection of them!

Jacqui is back.. and she bought Bill along this time!

Well Jacqui after her glam shoot two weeks ago, decided to bring Bill along for some relaxed couple shots. All these were taken at the Gardens. Bill being, a male, like most of the male species, wasn't really keen on being in front of the camera, but he put in the effort and these are my favourites from the afternoon

This was the second last shot of the afternoon. Shot on the 85mm, I would say this was just around 5pm.

I adore this shot. The tall tree trunks in the background, add interest without over taking Jacqui & Bill.

And again. These were shot on the 70-200mm

They look amazing here. Jacqui's gorgeous smile and Bill made contact with the camera. A natural shot of these two and there real life interactions.

I really love the lighting here

85mm again, I love the rawness that sepia and black and white give to images, specifically those that are emotive - it removes any distraction and you focus on the moment

And I love this one, Jacqui's nice big smile makes this photo lovely
It was great to photograph Jacqui again. Although Bill couldnt get in the car quick enough when the shoot was done (I did promise last shots about 10 times, but as you walk you see things and MUST do a shot there) I hope he finds a few pics out of there again huge lot that he will treasure!

Stephen & Ali - the wedding

Ali and Stephens wedding, I thought would be an interesting wedding for me to do, not many people are married at 10am, so I was pleased to try something a little different! I must say the thought of getting the post wedding shots in the harsh light of 12 oclock was weighing on my mind! Here are a few of my favourite shots!

The very beautiful bride, Ali, at home getting ready. Ali was an extremely relaxed bride, so relaxed infact she was quite late to the ceremony! Shot on the 85mm lens

Ali's arrival in the car at the church, after the detour back to get her bouquet... she wasn't even the slightest worried... and nor was stephen!

In the church now, and Ali's bouquet was really quite beautiful, I think I caught it in its full glory in this shot.

Husband and wife and the first married kiss

Moving on to the Japanese tea house area at the gardens. These two were one of those great couples, who had zero stress and they were really enjoying the day. Which, is a photographers dream couple!

After a few careful manouvres to get Ali safely on the rocks with out her spectacular viel ending up in the drink, I got this shot. Obviously a little more posey posey than most of the shots, but turned out lovely!

Again, I was just able to put Stephen and Ali in the spots I wanted them in and they created their beautiful candid memories

I might add at this point, this is the first wedding I have done in this location, I have another coming up in a few weeks (Kirsty & Gregs)... It really is my pick of the gladstone locations.

The happy couple again.

The boys. This is seriously probably one of my favourites I have taken... ever.

The boys and the toyota jump. It has nothing to do with anything, but it is fun! ha, Im not sure the boys thought it was, but I know the girls had fun watching them be silly!

Off we went to Auckland point then. I wish the clouds were not in the way to see Ali's gorgeous veil floating in the wind. I still like it though

Ofcourse more than the gardens, I was concerned about the sun up here at this time of the day, we did find some great spots though

I love this one also.... its a moment.

And another moment in the same spot.
I would like to wish these two all the very best for an amazing life together. It is really special, as a photographer, to be apart of these times in peoples lives! I hope I have captured moments that mattered to these two the most.

Kirsty & Greg

Kirsty and Greg are getting married at the end of this month and we went out to the gardens to do a few pre-wedding shots. They were both great to shoot, and they hadnt seen eachother for a little while, so they were really able to concerntrate on one another and ignore the camera! Anyway, gorgeous couple, we did these shots at 5pm and at this time of year the light is going quickly at this point. Take a look, these are just a couple of my favs :)

I dont know what greg thought when I told him to get in the grass.. but I think this one is my very favourite

and I think Kirsty looks really gorgeous in this one!

We did all these shots and more in about 15 minutes, they were both perfectly relaxed and I cant wait to do their wedding shots!

Jacqui's Glamour Shoot

Jacqui was given a voucher from her family for her Glamour shots. On the phone when she was making the appointment, she kept telling me I was gonna have my work cut out for me... Imagine my pleaseant suprise when I finally got to meet Jacqui! She worked so amazingly well in front of the camera, for someone who told me she doesnt have one pic of herself she likes, I hope that she can now say she has about 60 or so that aint bad! Check them out! She looks completely stunning!

A studio shot you say.... WRONG. This was shoot outdoors on Goondoon Street, using natural light only. Shooting into a dark building. No flash, and the trusty 85mm lens strikes again!

Out on Goondoon Street again...

How comfortable does Jacqui look in front of the camera! She really did a GREAT job

And I could post all 80 of Jacquis pics, they all really were lovely, but Ill stop with this one. This one was shot at the studio, but, using natural light.

I had a great time on this shoot, and I think Jacqui was also quite pleasantly suprised by the Glamour process!

Ali & Stephen and the upcoming wedding

Last week, Ali and Stephen met me at Auckland Hill to get a couple of engagement snaps before the wedding this weekend. They are really a relaxed couple and getting some nice natural shots of them was easy! Using the trusty 85mm lens and the 1D mk III these two are my favourites

Love love sepia tones

Ali really was not sure about this lounging on the chair!!
The are looking completely relaxed and comfortable though!
Looking fowards to the wedding on Saturday!
